March 2010 Meeting Announcement

BIM as it Relates to Integrated Project Delivery

Join us as our guest speaker Phil Larson will provide a historical overview, current trends, and futuristic presentation of BIM as it relates to Integrated Technical Project Controls (aka: IPD).  Building Information Modeling using 3-dimensional design software; how it is being received and where it can take the design and construction industry.

Date: Thursday, March 11, 2010

Time: Start at 5:45 pm, Dinner at 6 pm, Speaker 7 pm

Location: Doubletree Inn at Lloyd Center - Portland, OR

The charge will be $25 for dinner for members & guests payable by check or cash at the door.  Use parking structure and request a free parking pass. Yes, we are reducing the cost of the dinner this year !!!

Students are welcome at a reduced rate.

Phil Larson, CCE, CEP, PMP, PSP, FRICS.  President of Project & Cost Control (PC2) and chairman of AACE’s BIM Committee. 

Phil has nearly 30 years experience in the AEC industry and has worked for Peter Kiewit, CH2M Hill, NBBJ (architects), C3MG and KJM & Associates (consulting), and most recently with WinEstimator, Inc. (software) before focusing full time with PC2 developing BIM solutions for various clients.
